Vivat Jesus!

Today is a new beginning:  The start of a daily blog from the State Chaplain.  The postings on this blog site will cover a variety of topics, all with some significance for each of us, brother Knights of Columbus.  On occasion there will be shared information that comes from our Holy Father.  At other times there will be matters that are important to us who follow Fr. Michael J. McGiveny.  Surely there will be a presentation of thoughts for prayerful moments on your own.

There will be a place for comments at the end of the daily posting.  Please note, however, that the door to the comments "room" will be closed permanently if inappropriate remarks or insulting comments occur.  Disagreement offered in a gentlemanly manner will be accepted. Also there will be some space for pictures but the purpose is not for this blog to become an album.

At the end of each posting, as long as my memory is working, you will encounter a Latin phrase, Oremus pro invicem!  Translated these three works me this:  Let us pray for one another.

Of course there will corrections as such information is needed.  Oh, yes, this blog will not serve as a calendar for Council events.

In short these postings are offered to all the Knights of Columbus in the State of Maryland to help us strengthening our fraternity and spirituality.

Oremus pro invicem,

Fr. Milt Jordan
